We Walk By Faith-Not By Sight

We Walk By Faith-Not By Sight
"FAITH IS CONFIDENT ASSURANCE CONCERNING WHAT WE HOPE FOR, AND CONVICTION ABOUT THINGS WE DO NOT SEE."   (HEB. 11:1)

What makes your holy hour so pleasing to Jesus is that you come to Him in faith. Although you cannot see Him, you are convinced that He is really there under the appearance of the Sacred Host.

One day, a nun by the name of Sister M. Faustina Kowalska saw Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. When Jesus appeared to Sister Faustina, there were pink and white rays of divine light emanating from His Sacred Heart and radiating the entire chapel. Whenever someone came into the chapel for a visit, these divine rays would go forth from Jesus and encircle the whole world. Jesus explained to Sister Faustina that each person coming before Him in the Blessed Sacrament represented all humanity and that every man, woman and child on the face of the earth experience a new effect of His goodness, grace, love and mercy for each Holy Hour made in His Divine Presence. This is how much Jesus appreciates your Holy Hour!

You so touch the Heart of Jesus by coming to Him in the Blessed Sacrament that you touch the heart of all humanity. You win countless graces for many who are far away from God to be converted and come back to the Heart of their God. Your Holy Hour saves souls and brings many people to Heaven, who otherwise would have been lost and who could have gone to hell. This is called "Reparation!" You make up for what is lacking in the members of the Mystical Body of Christ by satisfying God's divine justice and opening up the floodgates of His Divine Mercy on the whole world.

Jesus wants everyone to be saved and to go to Heaven. He said: "When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to Myself." (Jn 12:32) In our prayers before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament we lift up all humanity to His Sacred Heart and beg Him to have mercy on all. Jesus gave the following prayer to Sister Faustina to be said by those who go before Him in the Blessed Sacrament to appeal for His Divine Mercy on all mankind. It is prayed on the beads of the Rosary, and is called, The Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Start with saying the following words three times:
Oh Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus, as a Fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.

 Then say one
'Our Father', 'Hail Mary' and 'The Aposle's Creed, I believe...'

Then on the large beads say the following words:
'Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
In atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.'

On the smaller beads you are to say the following words:
'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.'

In conclusion you are to say these words three times:
"Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world."
